According to the Times of India reports, Uttarakhand high court Tuesday asked the state government to file an affidavit in the case of irregularities in Group D appointments in cooperative banks across the state.
Petitioner Priyanshu Tyagi had said in his petition that there have been large-scale irregularities in the recruitment of Group-D posts.
Tyagi further alleged in his petition that a large number of relatives of ministers and senior government officials were appointed to the said posts and also quite a number of candidates were appointed by taking bribes.
