The Joint Registrar of Uttarakhand Cooperative Societies MP Tripathi has been given the additional charge of the Managing Director of State Apple Growers and Marketing Cooperative Federation Ltd.
The order of his appointment was issued recently.
Talking to the Indian Cooperative Tripathi said, “We would pay special attention to the apple garden of Garhwal and Kumaoun Mandal. The federation will make fertiliser and seeds available”.
“The Geographical conditions of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are almost similar. There are more possibilities of apple production in Uttarakhand than in Himachal Pradesh. We will make efforts to make the state as a leading state in apple production”, Tripathy added on the phone.
