Uttarakhand co-operators rush to Delhi to greet winners

Several co-operators from Uttarakhand rushed to Delhi on Monday afternoon to cheer Pramod Kumar Singh and Pradeep Chaudhary, who were elected unopposed as the directors on the board of the apex body. While Pramod is a known Congressman, Chaudhary is said to be close to the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.

There is a unique chemistry between Singh and Chaudhary despite them belonging to different political parties. Both congratulated each other.

The leaders who came from Uttarakhand included Haridwar DCCB Director Susheel Rathi, Dehradun District Cooperative Bank Chairman Amit Shah, Uttarkashi DCCB Chairman Vikram Singh Rawat and many others were seen supporting their leaders.

After the election, co-operators from Uttarakhand assembled for a group photograph in the NCUI premises for capturing the moments.

It bears recall that Dileep Sanghani has been elected as the President and Bijendra Singh and K Sivasdan as the two vice-presidents of the apex body on Monday.
