The largest Urban Cooperative Bank of India, Saraswat Bank has received the Well Fargo Straight-Through Processing Award 2018-19 recently.
Sharing the news through social media, the Saraswat Bank wrote, “We are immensely proud to receive the Wells Fargo Straight-Through Processing Award. Thank you, dear Customers! We are pleased to have served you efficiently in handling your foreign currency payments. Thank you, Wells Fargo for the recognition”.
The facebook wall of the bank is filled with congratulatory messages. One of the followers wrote, “Many more such Awards to Follow…!!! Congrts to My Forex Department and my Dedicated Team! Feeling Proud.”
Another wrote, “Heartiest congratulations to the bank n its team. I am proud to be an ex-staff member of our bank”.
According to its website, “Wells Fargo & Company is an American multinational financial services company headquartered in San Francisco, California, with central offices throughout the United States. It is the world’s fourth-largest bank by market capitalization and the fourth largest bank in the US by total assets”, claimed its website.
The Saraswat Bank’s total business mix was Rs 61,812 crore as on 31st March 2019 and earned a net profit of Rs 291 crore-the highest profit in the history of the bank.
