In a significant move towards strengthening the cooperative sector, Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Bank Limited has awarded a Rs 18.69 crore work order to Vinsys IT Services India Limited.
The contract focuses on the digitization and data migration of 1,000 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) across the state.
This strategic initiative is expected to enhance the technological backbone of grassroots cooperative institutions in Uttar Pradesh.
As per the agreement, Vinsys will complete the data migration process within 18 months and will continue to provide technical support and system maintenance for a total period of five years. The project includes phased quarterly payments, ensuring smooth execution and implementation.
The development underscores UP State Cooperative Bank’s commitment to modernizing rural credit delivery systems, aligning with the broader national goal of digitizing PACS by March 2025.
