Uttar Pradesh Cooperation Minister JPS Rathore inaugurated the e-lobby of State Cooperative Bank at Amroha on Sunday last week.
With the opening of the e-lobby, about 32,000 farmers will be directly benefited, as well as transactions with a turnover of Rs 650 crore will be possible, said Rathore.
Speaking on this occasion, he said the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Bank is financing sugar mills to the tune of Rs 3,000 crore. The bank is giving loans to the sugar and the ethanol sectors that will give a boost to green energy.
