UP: Patanjali signs MoU with 271 co-ops

Patanjali Ayurveda has signed an MoU with 271 cooperatives of Meerut, Saharanpur and Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh to sell Patanjali products among villagers and farmers associated with these cooperatives.

The signing of agreement was held on Wednesday in the presence of Patanjali Ayurveda Chief Executive Acharya Balkrishna and UP Cooperative Minister Mukut Bihari Verma.

Mukut Bihari Verma said, “This agreement will benefit all villagers, farmers and cooperative societies. . This will also enable rural villagers to get quality products at a special discount. We are hoping that cooperative societies will earn Rs 250 to 300 crore annually, and with the fund thus gained financially weak societies will get a new life”, he added.

In his remarks on the occasion, , Balkrishna said, “Under this agreement, some patent Ayurvedic medicines, food products, Ayurvedit cosmetics and other products will be available at Patanjali Cooperative Health centers.
