Ever eager to help smaller co-operatives, co-op titan IFFCO has contributed Rs 25 lacs to the UP state co-operative marketing federation, known as PCF.
A cheque of the said amount was handed over to PCF Managing Director Masoom Ali Sarvar by IFFCO State Marketing Manager Abhimanyu Rai in the presence of state co-op secretary B L Meena.
The news was shared through the twitter handle of IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi.
It is not for the first time that IFFCO has tried to help the PCF in becoming computerized, informed sources said, adding that in the past also IFFCO has helped the state cooperative ederation with both cash and skilled manpower.
Interestingly, PCF Chairman Aditya Yadav is on the board of IFFCO and represents the co-op giant on the board of International Cooperative Alliance ICA.
