The Uttar Pradesh Gram Vikas Bank organised a voter oath-taking ceremony at its head office on January 23, 2026, to mark National Voter Day 2026. The event was held in the presence of all officers and employees of the bank.
During the programme, participants took an oath to uphold democratic values, exercise their franchise responsibly and encourage greater voter participation. The initiative aimed to reinforce the importance of free, fair and inclusive elections and to promote awareness about citizens’ electoral rights and duties.
The ceremony reflected the cooperative institution’s commitment to democratic principles and civic responsibility. The event was organised in line with the objectives of the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, and supported by the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI).
