In an administrative reshuffle on Monday, the Uttar Pradesh government appointed IAS officer Brijesh Narayan Singh as the Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
Singh will be responsible for overseeing the operations of cooperative societies across the state.
The government also transferred three IAS officers and nine PCS officers, assigning them to key positions in various departments and universities.
Rajesh Prakash has been appointed as the Director General of the Fisheries Department, where he will focus on advancing fisheries development.
