The BJP backed candidate Akhilesh Tiwari was elected unopposed as the Chairman of Mau District Cooperative Bank in Uttar Pradesh.
Besides, Usha Maurya was elected as the Vice-Chairman of the bank.
Soon after the election, Tiwari wrote on his facebook wall, “With the blessings of Mahadev and the support of all the leaders and workers of Bharatiya Janata Party, I have been elected unopposed as Chairman of District Cooperative Bank, Mau”.
