Students’ cooperative stores in Tamil Nadu are very popular and functioning successfully in 300 educational institutions. The cooperative stores have been functioning since the 50s. Tiruchi district in the state is known for its wide network of student cooperative stores. The Jamal Mohamad College students cooperative store has once again been adjudged the best student cooperative store in the district. The award winning store claims an annual turnover of Rs. 15 lakh.
