Under the one-time settlement scheme, Uttar Pradesh based Etah District Cooperative Bank recovered the outstanding dues worth of Rs 11 crore, according to media reports.
The bank secretary Verdhan Pathak is quoted in the report as saying, “The bank has to recover around Rs 44 crore and so far, we have recovered the amount of Rs 11 crore under a one-time settlement scheme”.
“Approval is being taken for action against other borrowers. The big defaulters have been given information about repayment of loans through different means of communication”, Pathak added.
