According to media reports, Rameshan Paleri, President of ace labour co-op from Kerala ULCCS has been picked out for the Robert Owen Award for the best cooperative member, instituted by the Department of Cooperation.
It is worth mentioning that Owen is known as the maker of the cooperative movement in Kerala. Kerala Minister for Cooperation V.N. Vasavan announced various awards including the best cooperative member award.
The award was presented on International Day of Cooperatives at the Sahakarana Bhavan in the capital.
