Uttarakhand based Udhamsingh Nagar District Cooperative Bank provided financial assistance of Rs 1 Lakh to the family of the late “Corona warrior” Ram Shankar.
Shankar was posted as a manager in the Gularbhoj branch of the bank. He was admitted in the local private hospital after getting positive, died of Covid-19 on 12 May.
The bank president Yogendra Singh Rawat has given a cheque of Rs 1 lakh from bank’s Employees Welfare Fund to Shankar’s wife Neeta. Rawat assured Neeta that the bank will always stand by your family.
On the occasion, the bank’s Deputy General Manager Ram Yagna Tiwari, Senior Manager Hari Singh Yadav, Sushil Kumar and others were present.
