Senior officials from the Ministry of Cooperation and various State Governments visited the Udaipur Cooperative Consumer Wholesale Bhandar during the two-day National Conference of States and Union Territories held in the city.
The officials lauded the Bhandar’s innovative “Co-op Ride – Bike on Rent” service, terming it a pioneering initiative and a replicable model for the cooperative sector in Rajasthan. They observed the functioning of the bike-on-rent facility and appreciated its role in promoting cooperative-led innovation and public convenience.
The visiting delegation included Siddharth Jain, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation; Pankaj Kumar Bansal, Additional Secretary; and Anandi, Rajasthan’s Cooperation Secretary and Registrar, along with other senior officers.
During the visit, Bhandar General Manager Dr. Pramod Kumar briefed the delegation on the supermarket’s operations, ongoing initiatives, and future action plan, highlighting efforts aligned with the vision of strengthening cooperatives.
