Agrifed signed a MoU with the Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation (UCF) last week on Sunday in the presence of the latter’s Cooperation Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat.
Agrifed Chairman Gurpartap Singh and UCF Chairman Matwar Singh were also present on this occasion.
According to the MoU, AGRIFED will act as an Organization/Federation for providing various types of supplies and services in Uttarakhand through the Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation for the betterment of the Cooperative Sector.
AGRIFEED can supply Dietary, Non Dietary items, Fertilizer, Pesticides, Seeds, Cattle Feed, Fodder and other agriculture inputs.
The MoU terms and conditions read, “Both the organizations will work in collaboration for the supply and marketing of Agriculture and Horticulture inputs, processing requisites such as manure, seeds, fertilizer, agriculture implements, machinery etc. and for providing Skill Development and Awareness Programs across domains”.
“The bulk trade for supplies and services of various non dietary items like Office Stationery, School and Office Furniture, Dustbins and Compost Machines under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Education and Health Department, Open Gym, Rural and Urban office equipment(s), all types of Health and Hygienic Kits, Nutrition Kits, etc”, the MOU further reads.
