Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha distributed appointment letters to 156 newly recruited candidates for the positions of Assistant Manager, Cash-cum-General Clerk, and Multi-Tasking Staff in the Tripura State Cooperative Bank at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan in Agartala on Sunday last week.

During the program, the Chief Minister symbolically handed over appointment letters to select individuals.

On this occasion, Minister for Social Welfare and Social Education, Tinku Roy, emphasized the crucial role that employees of the State Cooperative Bank, along with the newly recruited staff of the Public Works Department, play in strengthening rural economies and developing state infrastructure.

Cooperation Minister Sukla Charan Noatia stated that the candidates were selected in accordance with the transparent recruitment policies implemented by the state government.

It should be noted that the recruitment was done through IBPS for the first state cooperative bank in the Northeastern state. The bank’s total business crossed to Rs 6700 crore and earned gross profit of Rs 124 crore in 2024-25 FY.
