Media reports say that the Bombay High Court is not happy with the closure of alleged multi-crore scam pertaining to the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank without filing a FIR.
The petition names many top politicians such as Ajit Pawar or Mohite-Patil. The names of several prominent bureaucrats also figure in the case.
It is being alleged that these men got the loans approved for many such co-op outfits which were not in a position to repay. It resulted into massive erosion of fund for the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank.
