Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will inaugurate agri cooperative-Nafed’s exclusive Experience Millets Center at Delhi Haat, New Delhi today.
Union Ministers of State for Agriculture Kailash Choudhary and Mrs. Shobha Karandlaje will also grace the occasion. Nafed Chairman Bijendra Singh, board directors and others will also be present on this occasion.
The millet experience centre has been designed with a distinct concept for millet-based products featuring a visual display of states that are major millet cultivators. It offers a tasting table with an extensive selection of regional millet-based meals and desserts.
It bears recalling that in order to further the cause of Millets, the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has collaborated with Nafed to successfully commemorate the International Year of Millets (IYM)-2023 through a range of initiatives.
