The dairy cooperative, Aavin in Tamil Nadu has increased its annual turnover by Rs 450 crore this year compared to the year 2017-18 reports Hindu.
The cooperative has also registered a thirteen percent increase in milk procurement. Aavin general manager is quoted saying the cooperative has opened new parlors and sales outlets in areas hitherto not covered.
Aavin’s focus on marketing has raised its turnover up by Rs 450 crore. However, sources familiar with Aavin’s affairs the cooperative body needs to be prudent given some unions associated with the it have been in the red.
