Tamil Nadu Dairy Development Minister K.T. Rajashira Balajee said Tamil Nadu government would take necessary steps to sell milk through Tamil Nadu Milk Producers Federation aka Aavin among Tamils living abroad, reports News Today.
The minister was recently launching the sale of Aavin milk in Singapore. The sales of Aavin milk have touched Rs 5,000 crore a year.
”We are expanding Aavin in foreign lands as per our chief minister K Palaniswami’s desire” he said.
The milk producers’ cooperative will soon begin selling milk in Malaysia, Dubai and Colombo as well, the minister said.
