Tamil Nadu Cooperation Minister K R Periakaruppan bestowed the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) Regional Awards for Cooperative Excellence & Merit-2023 on cooperatives for their outstanding performance.
On this occasion, eight awards were presented to primary level cooperatives from Tamil Nadu.The awards carried a cash prize of Rs 25,000, among other things.
Soon after the award ceremony, the official twitter handle of NCDC wrote, “Hon’ble Minister of Cooperation Sh. K.R. Periakaruppan, Govt of Tamil Nadu along with dignitaries including Dr. K. Gopal, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperation Department, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, Dr. N. Subbaiyan, IAS, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, and Sh. P. Loganathan, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank graced the occasion.
