EOW has taken into custody the secretary of Chinnamuthondipatti Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society in Tamil Nadu for financial irregularities, reports Hindu.
The accused had swindled Rs 27 lakh from the society between 2013 and 2018. An audit inspection revealed the scam.
The EOW acted on a complaint lodged against the secretary.
