TMC wins co-op elections in West Bengal

According to the millennium post reports, considering parliamentary polls are imminent, TMC’s victory in the elections to Kaurda Samabay Krishi Unnayan Samiti in Egra I Block in East Midnapore has energized the ruling party into high spirits.

The party won all the eight seats; two seats were won uncontested by two women candidates.

TMC’s victory is significant as the party won despite a coalition between BJP and Left in the cooperative elections.

Mamta Banerjee’s party has lately been on a winning spree in cooperative elections in the state.
