The Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank (TGCAB), in collaboration with the Cooperative Training Institute (CTI) and the Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM), organised a Walk-a-thon at Rajendranagar, Hyderabad on Friday.
The event was held to commemorate the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.
Y.K. Rao, Managing Director of TGCAB, flagged off the Walk-a-thon and addressed the gathering comprising staff, trainees, and faculty members from both institutes.
Emphasising the global theme “Cooperatives Build a Better World,” Sri Rao highlighted the vital role cooperatives play in building inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities. He called upon all stakeholders to spread awareness about the cooperative model as a people-centric approach to solving modern-day challenges.
Prominent personalities including CTI Director Rayappa and ICM Director Ganesan also joined the Walk-a-thon, reinforcing the importance of cooperative education and collaboration.
