The Government of Bihar has highlighted the transformation of Telhada PACS, describing its journey from a “golden past to modern development.”
Sharing the update on social media, Pramod Kumar noted that Telhada PACS stands as an example of how cooperative institutions in rural areas are evolving with time while preserving their legacy.
According to the post, the cooperative society has moved steadily from its historic foundations to adopting modern practices aimed at strengthening services for farmers and rural communities.
The development of PACS institutions is a key part of Bihar’s cooperative sector reforms, which focus on improving agricultural credit access, storage facilities and digital services for farmers.
Officials say such initiatives are helping transform grassroots cooperatives into more efficient and modern institutions, contributing to rural economic growth and better support systems for the farming community.
