M Ravinder Rao has introduced reforms and transformed the Nandanam PACS into the most viable cooperative society by diversifying into various activities, reports Hindu Dayashankar.
Rao was elected as the chairman of Nandanam PACS in 2020. He is also the Chairman of Warangal District Cooperative Central Bank.
Accordingly, the Nandanam PACS was converted into a bank in the village and started collecting deposits and lending loans for all the requirements of the farmers including housing, vehicles, educational loans, locker facilities, gold loans etc.
Earlier, this PACS was only lending agricultural loans due to which it incurred losses.
