A three-day exposure visit by officials from the Agriculture Department and cooperators of Telangana concluded at the Sustainable Agriculture Training Centre (SATC) located at the nano fertiliser plant of Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited in Bengaluru.
During the visit, the delegation toured the state-of-the-art facility where 500 ml bottles of IFFCO Nano Urea Plus are produced. Officials closely observed the automated bottle manufacturing process carried out in a controlled environment, along with production, bottling, case packing, and dispatch operations.
The participants also interacted with plant engineers to understand the advanced technology that enables large-scale manufacturing while maintaining strict quality standards.
The team further visited the NABL-accredited Quality Control Laboratory, where they witnessed rigorous testing procedures conducted before dispatch of liquid fertilisers. The delegation appreciated the plant’s high level of automation, which minimises human intervention and ensures contamination-free production, setting a benchmark for modern fertiliser manufacturing in India.
