The NCUI Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani has made an appeal to all the cooperatives to provide helping hands by providing monetary assistance to the co-ops for the cyclone affected people of Amreli district of Gujarat.
In his appeal he said, “The danger posed by the second wave of Covid pandemic in the country is far from over. In this depressing situation, the reports related to massive destruction caused by cyclone Tauktae in some parts of the country are indeed disturbing”.
“The devastation caused by cyclones in some districts of Gujarat including Amreli has affected cooperative institutions to a large extent. This will definitely have an adverse impact on the cooperative model of Gujarat”, the appeal further reads.
The cooperative movement in the country must support cooperative institutions in Gujarat in all possible ways in this hour of crisis, said the appeal made on behalf of the Gujarat cooperative movement,
