The Tamil Nadu Cooperative Department plans a 24/7 call centre for TNSC Bank and 24 District Central Cooperative Banks to provide uninterrupted banking services, including savings, loans, and soon, credit cards, media reports say.
Bids have been invited to establish a contact centre offering support via voice and WhatsApp, fully integrated with the core banking system. The initiative covers 933 DCCB branches and 55 TNSACB branches, aiming to enhance service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Under the unified Core Banking Solution platform, cooperative banks will offer any-branch banking, online transactions, and ATM access, aligning services with private commercial banks.
