The Piplani police in Madhya Pradesh have arrested two fraudsters who were cheating people through Swami Vivekanand Credit Cooperative Society on the promise that they would double their money, reports Pioneer.
Rs 6.77 lakh cash has been recovered from them. Police say the amount cheated could be in crores of rupees.
The investigation is continuing and more fraudsters are likely to be arrested in the next few days.
