The fertilizer cooperative giant Kribhco is actively involved in spreading the Swachhta awareness in rural areas in a bid to give a boost to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public cleanliness campaign.
The cooperative held a sanitation programme at village Kakraula Block Madhotanda District Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh last week. Baburam Paswan MLA was the chief guest on the occasion.
Kribhco distributed dustbins, brooms and other accessories to be used for cleanliness. An awareness rally was also organized to encourage the villagers. Discussion was held on role of sanitation in life by the distinguished guests.
Earlier, Kribhco had organized a similar programme in Rajasthan where a large number of school students participated in the event followed by an awareness rally.
Chief State Manager, Kribhco, Uttar Pardesh, ARCS Pilibhit, ARCS Bareilly, Sr. Area Manager, Manger (Mktg), ADO Ag, ADO Coop, Incharge of KBSK Puranpur, Director CCDU and more than 400 people attended the programme.
It bears recall that last year the Swacchata Award was conferred on KRIBHCO on the occasion of the third anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission in a programme held at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.
