It bears recall that Yadav is campaigning for his son Yashpal Singh who is contesting the UP-election polls from Babina (Jhansi) constituency on the Samajwadi Party ticket. The voting is on 20 February 2022.
Chandra Pal has launched a massive campaign with stopping at every shop as well as the household to seek support for his son.
Babina is a constituency with voters of all castes-Yadavs, Lodhas, Kushwahas, Brahmins and Muslims, and some other minuscule castes.
