Never a one who forgets his basic source of strength Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh rushed to greet Bihar strongman Lalu Prasad Yadav on his birth day. Sunil had got special south Indian shawl for his leader.
In the photograph mailed by him Lalu Prasad is seen sitting while Sunil drapes the expensive-looking shawl over him. Later he said “Biscomaun family is happy to pay respect to the great leader Lalu Prasad Yadav on his birthday”.
Lalu turned 70 on Saturday and one of his birthday wishes, reported by media related to another ‘mahagathbandhan’, or ‘grand alliance’ at the Centre in 2019 to defeat Narendra Modi.
Several leaders from outside the state including TMC chief Mamata Banerjee tweeted her best wishes to the RJD chief. Nitish Kumar was one of the firsts to greet him.
“Lalu Prasad has contributed immensely to Bihar’s politics and our society,” CM told reporters after meeting the RJD leader, reported PTI. Lalu thanked Nitish for his wishes.
