The veteran cooperator from Bihar and RJD MLC Dr Sunil Kumar Singh lauded the efforts of fertilizer cooperative IFFCO and its MD Dr U S Awasthi for the price stabilization of urea prices in the Bihar State Assembly.
Singh thanked IFFCO in general and its Managing Director Dr. U S Awasthi in particular. “The fertilizer cooperative played a key role fulfilling the demand of Urea in the state and had supplied over 8 lakh metric ton urea. IFFCO is working for the upliftment of farmers”, he said in the House, whose video has gone viral.
“IFFCO supplied urea at that time when private players and others were selling the fertilizer at a higher price. He praised the role of IFFCO and other cooperatives for ushering in green and white revolutions in the country and felt that the blue revolution would be possible with the help of co-ops only”, said Singh who is also the Chairman of Biscomaun said.
