Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar has been elected unopposed as the Chairperson of the Malegaon Cooperative Sugar Factory, one of the prominent cooperative sugar mills in the state.
The election took place on Thursday (March 12) at Malegaon in Baramati.
The development is seen as significant in the cooperative sector, particularly in western Maharashtra where sugar cooperatives play a crucial role in the rural economy and agricultural development.
