Addressing a two days All-India cattle exhibition and agriculture fair in Muzaffarnagar, Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari lauded the benefits of IFFCO Nano Urea.
He said encouraging results on sugarcane farming after the spraying of Nano urea through drones was noticed in his areas. In his speech Gadkari stressed on educating farmers on low cost farming and said Nano Urea is a big help in this direction.
“In our area, we sprayed the Nano urea through a drone. We used to sprinkle four bags on 1 acre of land and with this process 75 percent of urea went to waste and only 25 percent went to the plant. But, when you spray it through drones, the consumption is reduced to two bags from four bags”, Gadkari added.
Encouraged by Gadkari’s experiences, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi shared his views through a tweet.
