In a significant move to strengthen governance at the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), the Central Government has nominated Directors to the NDDB Board through separate notifications.
Under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Shirsat Kapil Ashok, Chairman of the Bihar State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited (Sudha Dairy), and Ram Avtar Garg, Chairman of the Haryana Dairy Development Co-operative Federation Limited (Vita Dairy), have been nominated as Directors representing State Co-operative Dairy Federations.
Their appointments will be valid for a period of one year from the date of notification, or till they hold the respective chairmanships, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
In another notification, the Central Government has nominated S. Regupati, Executive Director (Operations), NDDB, as a whole-time Director on the NDDB Board. His tenure will be co-terminus with his service in NDDB or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
