Karnataka based Suco Souharda Sahakari Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kishkinda University to strengthen professional skills and industry exposure in the banking sector.
The agreement was signed on Thursday by Suco Bank Managing Director G. S. Ravishudakar and Kishkinda University Vice-Chancellor T. N. Nagabhushan.
On this development, Suco Bank Chairman Mohit Maski said the collaboration aims to promote meaningful knowledge exchange between academia and the banking industry. The initiative will help students understand real-world banking practices and emerging technologies.
As part of the partnership, the bank will organise guest lectures, expert training sessions and internships for students from the university’s Commerce and Management departments. The collaboration will also see the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage laboratory focused on banking applications.
Kishkinda University Pro-Chancellor Amar Raj Bhupal said the MoU will bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical banking experience, opening new career opportunities for students.
The two institutions will also collaborate on joint research, academic publications and professional training programmes for bank employees.
