The State Transport Co-operative Bank Ltd. has contributed Rs 5 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, reaffirming the cooperative banking sector’s commitment to social responsibility and public welfare.
The donation cheque was handed over to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai by Vijay Dhage, Managing Director of the bank.
The contribution was made towards the Chief Minister’s Assistance Fund, which supports various relief and welfare initiatives across the state.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Fadnavis expressed his gratitude to the bank for its contribution and appreciated the institution’s support for public welfare causes.
He noted that such contributions from cooperative institutions play an important role in strengthening relief efforts and extending assistance to those in need.
