Pankaj Srivastava has assumed charge as Chief Executive of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) on Monday.
An Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer and Director in the Ministry of Cooperation, Srivastava takes over the leadership of the apex organization representing India’s cooperative movement.
On the occasion, senior officials of NCUI welcomed him and extended their greetings by presenting a bouquet.
His appointment is seen as an important development for the cooperative sector, given NCUI’s role in promoting, strengthening, and coordinating cooperative institutions across the country.
