SP crisis makes Adiya go taciturn

The crisis in the Samajwadi Party has kind of put a lock on the mouths of cooperators connected to the political outfit. Two notable cooperators connected to SP– NCUI President Chandra Pal Singh Yadav and IFFCO Director Aditya Yadav have not opened their mouth since the crisis began.

Though expressing his emotional allegiance to patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, Chandra Pal has thrown his weight behind his son Akhilesh Yadav, Aditya Yadav stands behind his father Shiv Pal Yadav quietly since the hullabaloo began.

Referring to the silence of Adity Yadav, Asian Age writes” Shivpal Yadav’s son Aditya Yadav is a complete antithesis of his more boisterous cousins. He has not uttered a word on the developments.”

These days Aditya’s social media presence is limited to expressing good wishes on the occasion of Guru Parv or paying homage to Om Puri on his demise. He at times retweets his father’s political statements but on his own he is avoiding any political utterances.

Caught between the two poles the junior Yadav does not know how to react, his friends say. The latter also say Akhilesh seems to have overlooked sacrifices made by Shivpal in strengthening the party as well as the family.

It is being heard on the grapevine that after SP’s victory in the 2012 Assembly Election Shiv Pal’s suggestion to Akhilesh to serve as Deputy CM to his father Mulayam Singh soured the relationship between the two.
