Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. (KSSFCL), Bengaluru, celebrated the 26th Souharda Sahakari Day on January 1, 2026, marking another milestone in the journey of the Souharda Cooperative Movement in the state.
The occasion was observed with the hoisting of the Souharda cooperative flag by KSSFCL Managing Director Sharanagowda G. Patil, symbolising unity and commitment within the cooperative sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Patil said Souharda Sahakari Day was being celebrated by cooperatives across Karnataka with flag hoisting and other programmes aimed at drawing public attention to the cooperative movement.
He noted that the celebrations were intended to strengthen the credibility of cooperatives among members, the public and the government, while reinforcing trust in the Souharda model.
Patil said the Souharda Federal Cooperative was working continuously for the development of the sector and for establishing the Souharda Cooperative model as an example for the entire country. Calling for renewed commitment, he urged cooperators to pledge themselves to the qualitative growth of the Souharda Cooperative Movement in Karnataka.
He also emphasised that every employee had a responsibility to contribute to this progress and take pride in the achievements of the Souharda Movement and the Souharda Federal.
