A contact program for Souharda Cooperatives in Dakshina Kannada district was held on July 30, 2025, at Hotel Srinivasa, Hampanakatte, Mangaluru. The event was inaugurated by Sri G. Nanjana Gowda, President of Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. (KSSFCL), and presided over by Smt. Bharathi G. Bhat, Director of KSSFCL.
Notable attendees included S.R. Satishchandra, President of Sri Saraswati Credit Souharda Sahakari Sangha, Puttur, and Sri Bhaskar Devasya, President of the Dakshina Kannada District Union of Souharda Cooperatives. Sri Guruprasad Bangera, KSSFCL Regional Officer, delivered the welcome address.
Post-meeting, retired Additional Registrar H.S. Nagarajaiah gave an insightful lecture on the roles and responsibilities of cooperative directors, emphasizing financial discipline.
Sri Nanjana Gowda also interacted with cooperative representatives and handed over keys of Common Service Centres to four Souharda Cooperatives, marking a step forward in expanding cooperative services in the region.
