Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd., started Diploma courses for the employees of Souharda cooperatives from 01.01.2019 and so far a total of 1376 participants attended in 04 batches of this course, claimed the Federation in an email.
Later, an MoU was made with Karnataka State Rural and Panchayat State University Gadag to give more weight to this course and to include youth into the cooperative sector. It was decided to conduct this course in conjunction with KSRDPRU, Gadag.
On 05.01.2023 an agreement was entered between Karnataka State Rural and Panchayat State University and Karnataka State Souharda Samyukta Sahakari. This agreement was signed by the chancellor of Vishwavidyya Shri Vishnukanta Chatpalli and the president of Karnataka State Souharda Samyukta Sahakari Shri G. In the presence of Nanjan Gowda, Chancellor of the University Basavaraja Lakkanna and Sharan Gowda G., Managing Director of Samyukta Sahakari. It was signed by Patil. On this occasion dignitaries and officers of the university and joint cooperative were present.
Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University Gadag and Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd., Bangalore jointly conducted the first semester examinations of DCBM Course on 22nd and 23rd July 2023 at 11 centers.
Examinations for DCBM are being conducted successfully in 11 centers and out of total 626 candidates, 583 candidates have appeared for the examination.
