Highlighting the growing role of the cooperative sector in digital empowerment, the Office of the Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (ARCS), Charaideo, Assam, has inaugurated a new Common Service Centre (CSC) at Sonari College under a cooperative framework.
The centre has been established with the support of the Sonari College Students Welfare & Common Service Centre CS Ltd., reflecting how cooperative institutions are contributing to the “Digital India” mission at the grassroots level.
The CSC will provide students and faculty with easy access to various government-to-citizen services, reducing dependence on outside service centres and making digital facilities available within the college campus itself.
Apart from digital services, the centre will also serve as an information hub by displaying job vacancies, scholarship opportunities, admission notices, and career-related updates.
