Tribune quotes GCMMF MD R.S.Sodhi as saying GCMMF will soon double its processing facility in Punjab from five lakh litres a day to 10 lakh litres a day.
The decision has been taken following an increase in demand for GCMMF milk and milk products in Punjab.
GCMMF’s own plant at Kamano is already expanding its processing capacity, Sodhi informed.
It is worth mentioning that in addition to its own unit at Khamano, GCMMF has several private units working for it across the state, RS Sodhi, said.
