Sitamarhi Central Cooperative Bank in Bihar recently organized a general meeting cum honor ceremony at its Dumra head office.

Presidents of PACCS in Sheohar and Sitamarahi districts and a large number of cooperators belonging to the two districts attended the meeting.

The meeting underlined the significance of giving KCC loans to micro and small farmers.

The bank’s Chairperson Madhu Priya said the bank is constantly trying to increase business in this increasingly competitive market. The bank is also providing services to all the farmers and cooperative societies associated with it.

She added that the bank offers services to its customers based on the latest technology.

The bank’s Managing Director Prabhat Kumar said a meaningful effort is being made to reduce the bank’s NPAs under the RBI and NABARD norms.

Meanwhile, Former chairman of the bank Vimal Shukla said the condition of all cooperative banks and PACS has become pathetic in Bihar due to the indifferent attitude of the Bihar government. PACS’ presidents should unite and agitate against the government dirty politics.

The bank’s Vice-President Bideshwar Prasad Yadav, former MP Arjun Rai, former Minister Suryadev Rai, RJD district president Shafiq Khan, Rambabu Singh and others were present in the meeting.
