HT reports Vijay Rawal the main accused in the Rs 26 crore scam in a credit cooperative society registered in Sirohi district in Rajasthan was arrested recently.
Police has registered scores of cases related to the scam against him.
The accused who had into hiding following the rejection of his anticipatory bail plea by the High Court was arrested on a tip off.
